All the news that's fit to print!:

The three day has changed its logo (on the way) and we are getting geared up for another one, even better than the last!  Keep in touch with us on that.   Dr. Carr has some tips on how not to get blisters.  One of the best two is to get tincture of benzoin from the pharmacy.  It'll leatherize your feet.   As will soaking your feet in strong tea each day.  The tannins in the tea also are used to tan leather.

There is a 3 day Expo coming up June 9th, 2007,  for the Breast Cancer 3 Day walkers.  Please call our office for details. Drs Thompson and Carr have committed to participate in the the Seattle Breast Cancer 3-Day which will take place September 7-9, 2007.

If you are interested in participating, Drs. Carr and Thompson will be providing FREE care to the patients who walk it (just like every other walker there at the 3 Day).   This will be Dr. Carr's 5th Seattle 3 Day and Dr. Thompson' second in a row.

Dr Thompson Starts his own clinic!

Dr Thompson is in his own location, which is in Microsoft Campus' back yard, but not far from his old location.   News/ photos to follow.

Latest volunteer gig: The Seattle Marathon, November 26th, 2006:

Dr. Carr was at the finish of both the half and full marathon, in the rain, in the cold, taking those who couldn't make it any further... life is good.  Thanks to Dr. Waller for his coordination of this for the runners.  Since it was so nasty, there aren't any pictures at the finish.

The funniest story was of one runner who was looking forward to trying some "Gu" product.. it's a liquid form of sugar and electrolytes that comes in a small package and instead of what he thought was Gu turned out to be VASELINE!  Eww!

September 24, 2006--- DR. THOMPSON IS MARRIED!!

In what was possibly the most romantic wedding ever, Dr. Thompson was married

in Roche Harbor, Washington, followed by a honeymoon in Italy.  Now is the time for babies!

The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk, 2006:

For the fourth time, Dr. Carr donated his services to the Breast Cancer 3 Day event in Seattle, giving free chiropractic care to the 3000+ walkers on the Seattle Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3 Day walk.   Each walker raised over 2000 dollars for breast cancer research, and walks over 60 miles in 3 days, sleeping in tents each night.   Dr. Carr has crewed in EVERY one of the 3 Day events in Seattle... last year he was its Sports Medicine Director.

Dr. Thompson donated his time as well this year for the first time.  Way to go, Dr. Thompson, we'll see you next year there!

Here's a couple of pictures from this year's 3 Day, one of "Dr. Thommo" and one of "Dr. C".

(No, we don't wear shorts in the office!)

Our CitySearch ranking kicks some serious butt: Dynamic Chiropractic Clinic of Seattle is STILL ranked # 1 on Seattle's 's CitySearch.com,  at a 9.9/ 10.0!  Sounds like we're doing something right! Citysearch is a referral-based means of seeing what's good, be it restaurants or plumbers or Seattle chiropractors.

Dr. Thompson of Dynamic Chiropractic Clinic of Bellevue is ranked first for the Bellevue, as well.   Way to go, Dr. Thompson!

Transportation to the downtown Seattle clinic will  soon be far easier: South Lake Union Street Car

The downtown Seattle light rail and underground bus tunnel will be up and operational in the fall of 2007, with a stop directly beneath the Medical Dental Building.  If you are interested, please feel to investigate its progress at the Seattle Metro website.

With the South Lake Union Streetcar going in, we're getting very excited... it seems it's going to end right in front of the Medical Dental Building.  This means there's a lot of changes, not only inside, as our building is undergoing millions of dollars of renovations, but even across the street as they build the streetcar.  Isn't change fun?
